8 days before giving birth to my sweet Ashton James.
Our middle child (I was also the middle child) Ashton turned 4 yrs. old today! I really liked how my friend Jen put it, its also a "Happy Giving Birth Day" to the Mommy too! I think I earned that recognition...he WAS 9lbs. 9oz. after all!

This is one of my favorite memories of Ashton's "Birth"day. Feeding Kevin my chocolate ice cream in the hospital bed while holding Ashton. Trying to make him feel as special as possible that day.
