I have started on another adventure of single motherhood. Jeremy left on Monday to Tuscan, AZ to work on a cement plant. The latest word is that he will return around the end of June. I don't even like writing that because it forces me to acknowledge it. Before and after he left I have just been keeping my mind busy with the boys so that the reality of his long absence wont sink in. We just have to keep busy, do some special things together (the boys and I) and not count the days. I just take it a week at a time and before we know it, he will be coming home. I feel bad even complaining about 2 months when my cousin's husband just left for his SECOND tour in Iraq for 12 months. I am sad for her that she has to go through this again. Instead of having kids to keep her busy, she has her work, and of course family and friends. Please pray for her and Adam, and that he returns unharmed.I am trying to plan a trip to Kalispell, MT to visit my sister this month. Hoping that my dad will help the kids and I with the long 10+ hour drive. I also plan to fly to Arizona to see Jeremy for a weekend (maybe around our anniversary which is June 2nd - 9 years!). We are also planning on the boys and I all going down for the last week or two of his job, then all driving home together while having some adventures along the way! So we have that to look forward to.
Last weekend Jeremy and I went away to Lincoln City for a little time to ourselves + baby Jordan. At 5 1/2 months he is not quite ready to be away from mommy all night long. However he is sleeping much better these days! From about 9-5am - eats, back to sleep, then awake again round 7 or 7:30am. We stayed at the Inn at the Spanish Head, which is where we stayed on our "Babymoon" right before Jordan was born. The weather was decent the day we got there so we were able to let Jordan have his first experience on the beach! I'm glad I didn't wait until the next day because it was very wet. Here are some pictures of Jordan checking out the sand for the first time...

Look at that smile! I've never seen that smile on him before, it is so cute!

I saw a lot of the MUMA"S in Jordan in those photos.
Looks like a fun time. Jordan is soooo cute, and bald just like Talea!! I think I see more of Jeremy in Jordan.
