Ashton slept great last night and woke up a new man (boy). This is how I found him this morning...
-----------------------------------------------My poor sweet Ashton is sick. A couple nights ago he didn't sleep well, then wasn't himself the next day. At first I attributed it to missing Dad, but I later found out he REALLY wasn't feeling well. How did I find this out you ask? By watching him vomit all over his car seat on our way home. Kevin was sitting right next to him and his first reaction was "Let me out, I'm scared!" I wiped him off a little with some wet wipes then continued home. I got him all cleaned up and put the boys down for their nap. It was around 2pm that Ashton fell asleep (not long after his head hit the pillow) He continued to sleep the rest of the afternoon and all night until 7am! That's 17 hours! My poor baby. He was sluggish this morning and drank a little water and shortly after that came up too. He had a little nap this morning and another this afternoon without any more vomit and has been able to keep down water, milk, Pedialite, and bread. Hopefully he will have a good night sleep and feel even better tomorrow. Please pray that no one else in the house gets sick. Its a little challenging when you are the only adult in the house. When you are cleaning up the "mess" there is no one to comfort the poor babe, or visa versa. This morning I had one child puking, one child peeing all over the floor and another child I was trying to get out the door to preschool. Even though Jordan peed onto the floor from the changing table while I was helping Ashton, I'm just glad he didn't fall off since I had to leave him there.

They are all 13 months apart. There is so much fun to be had with these three!
In other news, our rental is up for rent. The current renters are moving to a bigger house after about a year and a half. I have been fielding phone calls and showing the house hoping to find someone before I leave town. This is our first house. When we got married we rented an apartment in NW Portland just off of NW 23rd. Then we moved to Vancouver and purchase this cute house...
I always wanted a Victorian home and this one had a little taste of that. We painted the outside and every wall on the inside, including the nursery, which was so cute it was hard to leave...

My wonderful, talented friend Amanda painted the cute mural. When we moved I wished we would have done it on canvas so I could have taken it with me. It was a special room because it was our FIRST babies room. No one has asked to paint over it yet, but one of these days there will be a little girl or women in this room who might not 'appreciate' the artwork.
I hope that we find great renters soon and that the whole process goes smoothly since I will be dealing with it myself in Jeremy's absence.
Thats all for now. Until next time.
Speaking of falling, if I didn't buckle Jordan into his swing I think he would have fallen right out after getting so cozy in it today...

I decided today to let him try a MumMum rice cracker for the first time. Ashton LOVED these when he was a baby and ate them on a regular basis for breakfast on the go. Jordan is just so little, I forget that he is probably ready for more non-baby food type food. He ate the whole thing without any problem.

We are preparing for a road trip to Kalispell, Montana to visit my younger sister Heather. My dad has so generously decided that he would help us make the 11 hour drive. We will stop part way and stay over night so that we can break it up a little for the boys. They are very excited to go visit their cousin Titus, who will be turning 4 on Sunday. Especially Ashton, he is very anxious to get going. He and Titus have quite the time together. Here are the 'three musketeers' last summer...

I am praying that no one else gets sick, that is rough when you are the sole one responsible, I have been there when your dad was gone on a job too. I think you come out of it a stronger person and know that you can almost do anything that is needed or your called to.
