Seaside with the Muma's

Jordan (1) Ashton (4) Titus (5) Kevin (6)

Mid July my younger sister came home from Montana with her little ones Titus (5) and Talea (1) as they do every summer around this time. This year instead of sticking around home we went to Seaside with the whole Muma family (minus Raymond & Jason). Mom has a client with a beach house that she let us rent for the week. There were six adults and 7 kids. It is always fun to get all the cousins together, especially the younger ones. Ashton, Kevin and Titus are only a year apart and Jordan and Talea are only about 6 weeks apart. The two oldest are a great help with the young ones and of course I love me some Jessica time. There were a million pictures between all of us, so I tried to narrow it down...there are still a lot here and not all in exact order, plus a couple random pics from my house. Enjoy!

Typical Oregon coast weather, but still beautiful I think.

This is what happens when sunblock and sand mix.

Talea made herself right at home in the sand when they got there.

Our home for the week.

This was our beach, just a block away.

The boys playing policemen vs. firemen.

Grandma and Jessica (13) I love this picture of them! They look so much alike I think.

The baby beach bums.

Jordy (19 months)

Talea (21 months)

My nephew Chants (11)

Our beach at low tide.

Papa Roger, Jeremy and Julie took all the boys to Fort Stevens.

Yep, I think she has officially entered her teens.

Talea very patiently getting her nails painted by her cousin. This girl is so girly I love it! These two girls are the oldest and youngest of the grandkids and the only girls....for now :)

When the tide goes out you could find these crabs everywhere!

Papa and the boys.

Jump back for a sec to my parents house. Heather taking her kids for a ride in the dune buggy.

Back to the beach...The first dinner before we got there. The dinning room fit them just right, but after the 5 of us came it was another story.

Roasting smores

For some reason all the boys were interested in Titus going to the bathroom.

Chants enjoying the fire.

Staff Sergeant Baker serving chow.

Story time with cousin Jessica

Papa and the babies.

Mimi and her little mini me.

Fun in the sand.

Jeremy and Papa talking shop.

Jordan and I. I love playing in the sand.

The cloudy weather didn't scare these kids out of the water.

Hey Ashton!

My parents. aka: Papa Roger & Mimi Florence.

Aren't they cute? :) Married 39 years!

Mom and her three girls (and Talea) :)
(she insisted we all wear a hat for the picture)

OK, now we can take the hats off and fluff our hair!

Awe, that's better :)

Jeremy is at it again. He is quite the cook!

I just love this picture of Mom. We celebrated her 60th birthday (she doesn't look a day over 50 here!) at the beach with these yummy cupcakes from a local bakery.

Jess giving Jordan a taste.

Mom opening her gifts...

Jeremy and the 4 oldest boys slept in the trailer. There wasn't quit enough room inside for all of us.

Talea and Mom

This night we all painted our toe nails and watch 'Twilight'

Jessica painted her Mother's toes...

and Heather painted HER Mother's toes.

The final product.

My handsome little Jordan.

Talea getting her toes done now.

We went to Cannon Beach this day. It was beautiful out but SO windy :(

Jessica. I love this shot.

Ashton after a fun day in the sand.

Jessica

Ashton. Such a cutie.

I see you Mom!

Beautiful sunset.

Skip back to my house this time. Pool time with the babies.

mmm...ice cream on our front porch.

Back to the beach and roasting smores again. Can't get enough of those!

oh Jordan. Not happy with Mom taking his picture probably.

awh, how cute is that?!

The view from the house.

Jordan and Talea hanging out in the front yard.

Lunch time!

Look at that face :)

Talea dressed up ready to take her baby out...

but before she could go anywhere, Jordan really wanted to try on those shoes! It just cracks me up. That face is so him!

What do you think Jordy?

This is how Jeremy spent his time on the beach. He does not like the sand. At all. :(

All five boys.

Kevin

Lunch break for Jordan...

oh ya, this is the life...

OK Mom, stop taking pictures!

"The Hole"

Jordan always looks cute reading, but what intrigues me about this photo are all the patterns and colors in it. I don't think they could clash any more!

Jessica's WILD sweatshirt she picked out and bought with her own money. I guess neon is all the rage now? or should I say "again".

Getting a taste of that cupcake. I sure hope her fingers were clean :{

My boys xoxox

Playing in the back of Papa's truck.

The Three Musketeers

You have to watch these two. They can be trouble :]

We did see some blue sky!

Cousins. Im excited they will both be in the same grade!

Kevin (6) my little 1st grader!

Thanks Mom & Dad for bringing us all together at the beach to make some great memories!
