Boy, its been awhile! I knew it had been at least a week, but I didn't realize it had been two weeks since I posted last. This last week has been busy with Jeremy being home again and my sister Heather visiting from Montana. Jeremy started driving home from Tuscan, AZ on Thursday the 2nd and made it home by 7pm on the 3rd. I called him Friday to see if he had left yet and he said he was packing up and getting ready to leave. I found out later he had actually left the night before and was already in Oregon! He was trying to surprise me. I told him to call me when he was 15 min. away so the boys and I could watch for him. He had been gone for 3 weeks so we were very excited to see him. Here are the boys running to greet Dad when he got home..

When Dad has been gone awhile the boys tell him all about whatever it is they are into at the moment, whether its their new favorite movie, game or toy. They are even known to show him their room and toys as if he hasn't seen them before. He is a great dad, I feel bad that they have to be without him for those long stretches. I just love watching them wrestle and get horsey rides from him. It reminds me of when I was a kid and did the same thing with my Dad. Another one of the MANY things I love about Jeremy is how he always seems to know the answer to mine or the kids questions, no matter what it is. I remember my Dad always had the answer to my questions, he knew everything! Just like Jeremy. Don't they say you look for a man who reminds you of your father? He is the one man you grew up with your whole childhood and when you had an amazing dad like mine, its no wonder that I found a lot of his good qualities in Jeremy, plus a few extra :)---------------------------
Jordan turned 8 months old on the 10th. This boy is a little squirt, but he sure can move! He has been crawling for awhile now and just started pulling up to standing at the furniture!

This is how I found him one morning in his crib. He looks so proud...

Now he thinks he wants to climb the stairs!

I don't think so little guy! Looks like its time to bring out the baby gates! It's so cute to watch him crawl around the room, then get in a sitting position, then crawl some more just exploring and playing. He has been starting to get the hang of using a sippy cup and right before Jeremy got home he starting saying "Da..da..da..da.." It is so easy to make him smile! We love that.

We had a great 10 days with Heather, Titus (4) and Talea (9 months). My next couple posts will be of the 4th of July, Moms birthday, Heathers visit, the beach and the lake. It was lots of Muma family time while she was here. It was great. Just like when Jeremy's brother Brad comes home to visit from DC, its lots of Baker family time. They bring us all together. Its always sad when she leaves especially when I see things that remind me of her visit, like the pack n play Talea took her naps in. Im glad she is only a phone call away, just wish it was only a short drive (or walk) away.p.s.
If you are reading this, I would love it if you left a comment so I knew you were here! Thanks!
